The goals of regional groups are to meet face-to-face with other PBCers, share information and personal experiences, raise funds for PBC research and promote PBC education. At local meetings, PBCers share their experiences and what they've learned on the PBC road.

Regional meetings and events are organized and hosted by area individuals, many of which are subscribers to the PBCers Organization PBC daily digest and newsletter. Subscribers are known as "PBCers" which stands for Primary Biliary Cirrhosis Education, Research & Support.  PBCers is a trademarked name by the PBCers Organization.

The PBCers Organization has no input or control establishing regional groups and setting up meetings and events.  The PBCers Organization cannot be held liable in any way for these groups, their activities, meetings and or events.  Regional groups are the responsibility of the organizer and regional group members.
