Local PBC Groups

The goal of the local contacts and group meetings is to help one another in their PBC journey.

Local contacts are available to help other PBC patients by offering support and answering questions based on their personal experiences.

Some local contacts schedule group meetings with other PBC patients to share information, medical experiences, raise funds for research, promote PBC awareness and build lasting friendships.

Local PBC contacts are usually PBC patients or a family member. Local meetings are “not” hosted by the PBCers Organization. These meetings are hosted by area PBC patients, family members, friends, area medical clinics or hospitals.

Local contacts may submit their meeting or event information in the PBC daily digest and Facebook pages.

The PBCers Organization has no input or control establishing local groups or setting up meetings and events. Local groups are the responsibility of the local contact and group members. The PBCers Organization cannot be held liable in any way for local PBC meetings. This includes, but is not limited to, local group’s contact information published, meeting expenses, activities and location, local event fundraisers, and or any other events associated with local groups.

Local meeting information listed on our website has been submitted to the PBCers Organization by the local group’s contact. The local group listings are published for information purposes only. Contacts are responsible for the accuracy of the information.

We need local contacts! If you would like to help as an area contact, please e-mail your information to regional@pbcers.org. Thanks!
