There are no age limitations on who can donate. The deciding factor on whether a person can donate is the person’s physical condition, not the person’s age. Newborns as well as senior citizens have been organ donors. Persons younger than 18 years of age must have a parent's or guardian's consent.   Donate Life

American Organ Transplant Association
AOTA is located in the Houston, Texas area with affiliation to a majority of transplant centers nationwide. The major focuses include providing free air fare/bus transportation for those in financial need of this service to/from their transplant center; providing hotel accommodations for those traveling to their center from out of town (air fare/bus/hotel all provided free of charge by our corporate sponsors for those in need); establishing and administering tax deductible trust funds. AOTA is the host, creator, and planner for the annual Texas Transplant Games and spend considerable time in Washington, D.C visiting with congressman on transplant related topics.
